    Board locks up or resets

Just to be clear those are not optos, they clamp input transients to ground.   I’ve had similar problems with the WebControl I used for wood heat controller. http://www.tschmidt.com/writings/2ndgen_woodheat_controller.pdf   In my design I clamped the 1-wire I/O with 1N4148 diodes to Vcc and...

    Email notification difficulty

Do you mean Port 567 or 587? 587 is the standard port for SMTP authentication.

    malware

Yup - I notified support yesterday.   I had something similiar happen to my site over a year ago.   Got a confiming email  from support yesterday they were rebuilding the site.   /tom

    remote reboot

What I have done is save screen shots to a file, then manually duplicate settings on the new board. Not very elegant but it works.

    remote reboot

That is the version I'm using. Still says microseconds:   <quote> 6.4.13 Example 13, Non-Blocking Delay Non-blocking delay is expressed in PLC code as [] next to the operators. The number inside [] is micro-seconds. The [] operation can be on both operators during TST operations. Each input...

    remote reboot

That is good to know, I did not realize that.   Handy being able to reboot the board to initialize it when updating user code.   May want to include note about that in the next update to the User Guide.   BTW: Section 4.6 Timers and 6.2 Instructions - states time is in milliseconds, however...

about sending 1 email a time

Pittom beat me to it. Sorry for being vague. Webcontrol has 8 VAR and 8 RAM locations for storing varables. The advantage of using VAR is the current value is reported in web status. I should have used VAR in my example but was lazy and just copied a piece of working code.   /tom

about sending 1 email a time

You need to set a flag once the email is sent, and then test it each each time after that so the email is only sent once.   RAM is set to 0 at power up. Once the email is sent set RAM to 1 and test RAM each time through the loop.       TSTEQ    RAM7 1     RET     EMAIL    EM4     SET    RAM7 1...

    CAI WebControl Logger [Software]

Now I get it, I did not realize needed to increment the "value" pull down to add a new entry.   /tom

    CAI WebControl Logger [Software]

LarsK, now that I've finished up the greenhouse and wood heat controller I wanted to play around with logging and stumbled upon your spiffy program.   I've downloaded the latest version v1.4.6 running on XP pro.   1) Perhaps I'm slow but I cannot figure out how to log more than one item from the...

    Temperature wire distance

As mentioned look at the voltage being supplied to the WebControl, preferably with a scope to see if it is clean or noisy, rather than just too low.   The reboot problem may be noise pickup by the cable and not be directly related to the 1-wire temperature sensors. I'd try connecting a...

Any advice on interfacing a K thermocouple?

I'm in the process of updating our wood stove controller and had a similar problem. Needed to measure flue temperature and indicate if it is too low or too high. Due to the limited I/O of the webcontrol I opted to use a PID controler to interface to the thermocouple and control set point and...
