Can I use a cat6 cable to wire the omnistat to the Hai Panel? I have two free cables in the location where i want to install the thermostat, but I can run a 4 cable 18 or 22 gauge if need be, the only reaon I am hesitating is because I already sealed and patched the whole on this location.

Man this is a little disappointing, on my old system if a zone was open the green light would be off and it would not go on until everything was closed in the house. I kind of liked that.

According to what I am reading, solid is the right way to terminate cables in the patch panel. Stranded is too flimsy for termination, I am so mad at myself for not researching this prior to making the purchase, this is an $800 dollar mistake on my part ;)
