Do most people mount the 3400 or use it as a mobile remote? Can CQC do the same thing that HS, MainLobby and MusicLobby can do or would I have to purcahse add-ons to CQC? I just want to be sure that I am going the most cost efficient way with software. By the way, I will be using z-wave modules.

If I was to use MainLobby with HS, it says I can control lighting, HT, etc. through my television. Do this mean I still have to hook my computer up to my television and control everything using my computer mouse or can I actually control everything with my television remote?

My hall light is set-up as a 3-way (controlled by two switches). I want to use the ZDW120W because it has instant status capabilities when hooked up to Homeseer.

I'm still a bit confused. What are the better switches: ACT switches (ZDW100, ZDW120, ZDW103, etc.) or Intermatic HomeSetting switches (HA06C) I am sure the Pro's are the best zwave switches but they are quite expensive. I would like to have "live status" and scene capable (with ramping)...

how do i know which switches have the newest firmware? Does either the ZDW120 or the HA06C have the new firmware? Also, the only BIG difference from the older zwave and the newer zwave is the instant status? Finally, why are the Intermatic Pro's so much more expensive? What do they do that...

As my television is more centrally located than my pc, I thought it would be nice if I could see my iTunes playlist and control it somehow by a remote.

What else is z wave compatible? I have my switches picked out and I know of a thermostat (RCS) that will work with z wave, but do they have motion and heat detectors, etc.? What are the model numbers because I haven't found any. Thanks.
