I run a local hobby forum that no one would care about but it's been hacked before by automated scripts looking for vulnerabilities in phpBB, nothing is safe when it’s exposed to the net.
Usually on a home connection your upload speed is limited as well so hosting pictures, vids, large files etc would be slow for people viewing the site.
Ya can't the regular WV-CW484 is cheaper, well a bit, but PoE would be nice since I already have a PoE switch. An AverMedia card doesn't care if you have both IP and analogue right? Could I get better FPS just using the analogue and AverMedia card?
Has anyone used one of these cameras? In the specs it says up to 30 ips but is that at full resolution? Any issue with using it with an AverMedia card?
Thanks
I typed it in wrong it's the WRT310N I have and it was running ok until I started running over 100 vms, Dan & Steve said to try the dd-wrt firmware and it has been running better since then. I’ve had the GS116 running for a long time now can’t remember exactly when I got it.
I have a GS116 mounted in a Leviton 42" can, don't have the cover on yet though, and haven’t had any problems. The switch has worked good for me, better than my Linksys WRT350N router!
I have a Q1 and Harmony 550 as well. I like using the Q1 for selecting which DVD, TV show, or CD to listen/watch, for me it’s just faster than scrolling with a remote, but use the 550 for the rest.
There is also the R5000-HD mod and FTA satellite tuner cards. The sat card I have isn't directly supported by Sage so I'm using DVBDream and a network encoder plugin for it with Sage.
So if you get the one zone processor and hook four sensors up to it the elk won't know which one is which correct? They need a processor that is multi zone but one sensor is one zone.
If I get one of these (http://www.automatedoutlet.com/product.php?productid=483&cat=123&page=1) can I hook it up directly to an ELK or do I need the processor as well?
Thanks
