Hmm. This doesn't give me a warm & fuzzy. I just closed on my condo 5/26 and the first thing I did was go to AutomatedOutlet.com and buy a Vera2 ($238) and two CA8900 t-stats ($44 each) for the two zones in the place. I liked the RCS, but not the pricetag.

I'm very interested to hear how this works out for you... photos of installation, and such, if possible! I have some really terrible track lighting in my kitchen. I'd love to use this type of lighting for primary kitchen illumination, but I'm not sure of the brightness. Anyway, keep us posted.

I'm looking into Z-wave capable deadbolts, and the Kwikset is in the lead due to its motorized deadbolt. I have a question I haven't been able to find an answer to in the installation manual or by searching here... and it is this: The Kwikset deadbolt can be configured to send a notification...

I've just stumbled across the Trufig in-wall flush mount. Although I didn't read every post, I did a search & I didn't find this one in the thread... OOPS. I'm a new member & can't post links. Oh well... Google "Trufig" and "iPad" and you'll see what they have.
