camera problem with scrolling up line

I have two cameras that display a scrolling line. One does it only during night vision and it shows a big fuzzy horizontal line that goes up. The image itself doesn't scroll. Then I noticed today that another camera now has a very light horizontal shadow line scrolling up. Looking back at the...

How effective are cameras triggered with lighting?

What he would need is a board that he can read the status on/off of the input. And then start recording if on.

How effective are cameras triggered with lighting?

To add inputs to a pc would cost more than the M1XEP. With the M1XEP, you can also use eKeypad on a iphone to control your M1 and lighting. I have the full version on my itouch and like it very much.

How effective are cameras triggered with lighting?

I think BlueIris is only for Windows because it needs directx. To generate an e-mail when your alarm triggers, you can use a output from the ELK M1 to trigger the input on the foscam FI8908w which will in turn send an e-mail. That can be cheaper than adding a M1XEP to your system. The foscam...

How effective are cameras triggered with lighting?

Initially, I opted to use an ip camera in the living room and basement to send e-mail snapshots if the input was triggered by the alarm. But without IR, it was useless when dark and the camera angle view could not possibly cover all possibilities. I had chosen DLink DCS-5300 cameras that have...

Hi I am trying to find the operating temperature for the wall switch x10 pro XPS3. Any ideas. I want to install it in an unheated garage. I live up north in Quebec city, so it probably gets down to -15 celcius in the garage at some point during the winter.

Keypad with self heating for use in a unheated garage

I am harder on my outdoor cameras not rated for such cold temperature, but I felt it was better to be on the safe side to protect the keypad so that my entire M1 system remains in good shape. I have finish installation of my new ekeypad pro on my itouch. Nice application. I can't access all my...

Keypad with self heating for use in a unheated garage

This is a setup I have been using successfully for some times now. I park everyday in my garage which is unheated during winter. Temperature can drop between -15 to -20 celcius, so in order to protect a keypad from cold and high humidity, I used the following: - large plastic electrib box (pvc...

My experiences with (cheap) Network Cameras, Analog Cameras, and DVR Software

Maybe I can share my own experience with with camera security. I started out with DLINK DCS-5300 cameras for intdoor use. They are easily accessible from internet and provide clear picture during the day and they is minimum lighting. I like a camera that shows true colors, so now I allways...
