    Premise X10 Pro PSH02 Powerhorn

That wasn't it but it pushed me in the right direction. It turns out that the X10_Dimmer devices has a setting for RefreshBeforeDim which initially was set to ON. I turned it OFF and now I can address the powerhorn as both a siren and a chime directly. Very happy now! As always, thank you so...

    Premise X10 Pro PSH02 Powerhorn

So the plot thickens. I installed the X10 Active Home software and started toying with the powerhorn. I set it up as a lamp module and sent an ON command followed by a dim and it chimed like it was supposed to. I sent it the on/off, on/off sequence directly to the House Code and Device Code...

When I get some time, I'm going to install the X10 software and see if I get the same results.

    Premise X10 Pro PSH02 Powerhorn

Well I picked up another PSH02 and it's doing the same thing. Does it matter what type of X10 device I have it set to? I'm using the X10_Enhanced_Dimmer type. *EDIT* Apparently it does matter. If I set the device as an appliance module, I can send on/off, on/off and the siren blares. It's...

I've got this working using the following script triggered by my living room motion detector OnChangeMotionDetected: 'Checks to see if it is between 6am and 7am and 'Table lamp is not on and 'current day is a weekday If times.sysHour >= 6 and times.sysHour < 7 And _...

I think it's a great idea. My home schedule is pretty screwy lately but I'll do my best to drop in at whatever time you guys decide on.

    Premise X10 Pro PSH02 Powerhorn

Apparently, at one time, a X10 powerhorn device did exist that could be directly addressed or perhaps something is screwy with the one I have and it only works with All lights on/off. I'd REALLY like to have the chime ability so that I can use it to alert me when I activate/deactivate the...

    Premise X10 Pro PSH02 Powerhorn

Yup. The All Lights On/Off did work!! I guess that's cool and also not cool as I can use the siren but not the ding/dong .. Oh well, I guess I can't have it all but at least I have an ear piercing siren. Thanks again guys.

Something else to try ;) I guess that eliminates the ability to use the chime? How can I send the bright/dim if I use All Lights On?

Well try as I might, I haven't been able to get this device to do ANYTHING. I have a funny feeling it's busted. I didn't have a chance to try 123's script yet though.

Hmm.. I was definitely mashing the buttons pretty fast. I'll have to give it another try. I would really like to be able to utilize the ding/dong and siren portions. I'll give this a go tonight as well. Thanks!

123, As always, thank you for your efforts and time you put into answering everyone's questions (mine in particular!). I'll give it a try this evening. BLH, I've tried triggering using the rf mini-remote and couldn't get it to work. Is timing an issue? How fast were you issuing the...

    Premise X10 Pro PSH02 Powerhorn

Hmmm.. That's interesting. I had not heard of that being the case, but perhaps that's the problem. I'll give it a try using an RF receiver, miniremote and horn all on the same house code and see if that makes a difference. I'll report what I find. Thanks. *EDIT* So I just tried it and...

    Premise X10 Pro PSH02 Powerhorn

Is anyone using an X10 Pro PSH02 Powerhorn with Premise? I bought one in hopes of being able to control it and being able to tie it into my DIY home security system. I've read that if you send multiple ON/OFF commands to the Powerhorn that it would sound. I have not been able to accomplish...

Thanks for the upload! I was hoping it would be a bit more, but it is what it is. I guess I'll have to do some more snooping to figure out how to do a few more things.

Thanks! This is close to perfect. I say close to perfect as it would be really cool if I could say ON or OFF, but this will definitely work. Another thing off the bunch list. Woohoo!

Thanks for the help guys. I've regained almost all the functionality I have with Homeseer using Premise. I've even added some additional 'features' that I was having trouble doing in HS. I've used the logic ObjectDiagrams to accomplish some pretty cool conditional things. I am still learning...

Hey guys. I'm currently a Homeseer user and am mostly pleased with it, but as the persistent tinkerer, I'm giving Premise a spin. I've set up my X10 devices and am able to control them via the web application. Here's a list of things I do with Homeseer that I'd like to try and accomplish with...
