Adding Wireless Motion Sensor

I am adding a wireless motion sensor (47A00-1) to my OPIIe setup.

I have done the following:

1) Enroll the PIR as device 14 in the HAI wireless receiver.
2) Add the PIR as zone 46 in PC Access and set it to "Auxillary". This unit will be used to detecy motion at my front door and turn on the lights.
3) Write the config to the controller. I have verified with Snaplink that the new zone appears.

To test I have entered the walk test mode on the PIR and it looks to be detecting motion. I also entered RF test mode and the wireless receiver shows the test faults.

My issue is that when this PIR faults it doesn't show up on my keypad like all my other zones. I can see an internal PIR fault when I walk by it but I can't get this unit to show a "not ready" on the keypad.

Is the blue LED supposed to blink on the PIR when it sensens motion regularly? I know the unit has a 3 minute delay between faults.

Edit - I can see in Snaplink the fast not ready flash. I wonderig I am just missing it on the keypad.

"Auxillary" is not a security mode. Why would you expect it to show up on your keypad? If you want to validate it is working with your OPII, write a rule like... When zone 46 Not Ready, Turn kitchen light on.

It shows up everywhere else. It seems to follow that it would show up on the keypad too. I couldn't find any documentation describing that only a subset of "not ready"s would show on the keypad. If I get all my new switchs I will be a rule writing fool this weekend!

If you are referring to the Console status line, then only Security and Alarm related items are displayed. This includes things like low battery, freeze alarms, temp alarm zones, and security type zones. If you have multiple areas configured the zones must also be in the same area as the console.

You should still be able to view the status of an auxiliary zone using 6 (status), 2 (zones) and scrolling down to the zone.
