ELK has announced a new touch screen based keypad, and a new 2-way RF platform for the M1/EZ8 product line.
The 3.5" touchscreen is called 'Navigator', can be customized by installers, and connects directly to the RS-485 databus, meaning it can replace the existing keypads.
The new 2-way RF technology will offer increased reliability, by actually confirming if a command was successfully sent/received, and be more resistant to noise/jamming. Check the press release below for more information.

  • RSSI signal level reporting
  • RS485 data bus receiver(s) to the M1
  • Multiple receiver operation for expanded area reception back to the M1
  • 3 types of door and window transceivers, small, medium, large
