Does anyone know if I could get this waterproof enough to use outside for my gate?
If not, does anyone know of any wired ones that are for outdoor use? Wired is last resort as I do not have wires run for it.
I am planning on doing the sanme thing. I will mount the transmitter in a PLASTIC waterproof outdoor electrical box and run a contact to the gate. I have NX-650's I beleive that have the remote contact as well as the bulit in.
It is the only way that it will work fairly long term. The temperature extremes will shorten the life of the battery I am sure.
