Kenosha, WI. July 15, 2006. Cinemar Inc., one of the leaders in the development of PC based home automation and media control software, this week has announced the much anticipated release of their MainLobby 3 suite of products.

MainLobby 3 and the brand new MainLobby Server 3 builds on the power and flexibility of MainLobby Server 1.0 (released 2003) and offers even greater reliability. MainLobby 3 is designed to integrate and control lighting, appliances, security, HVAC, home theater and other common home systems.

The product was first announced publicly on March 29 of this year at the EHX Orlando trade show, and the company has had an overwhelming response from Audio Video OEMs, value-added resellers, software developers, remote control manufacturers, and custom audio/video installers who have been waiting for just such a solution.

MainLobby 3 may be easily installed by any homeowner and then controlled using touchscreens, wall controllers, handheld remotes and even PocketPCs or PDAs. MainLobby 3 uses Macromedia Flash technology which allows users to easily create their own control interfaces from a rich assortment of included graphics without programming experience.

The fastest growing segment of Cinemar’s business is their professional integrator / dealer sales. With the customization capability of the MainLobby user interface and MainLobby Server 3 control system, MainLobby suite is perfect for medium and high end installations. Cinemar also offers professional programming and graphical development services as well as custom PC based hardware as a full service provider.

The MainLobby platform is expandable. The multi zone MusicLobby 3 add-on to MainLobby provides an integrated music experience throughout the home. DVDLobby 3 add-on ties whole house control and easy selection of DVD changer, fireware and hard drive based movies. WeatherLobby 3, PhotoLobby 3, WebLobby, XMLobby, TVLobby, adds their respective contributions to whole house media management.

“MainLobby takes advantage of reliable, open and flexible PC based hardware and software to provide automation capability that meets or exceeds dedicated automation controller systems costing multiples of a MainLobby installation." states Mario Cascio, Chief Executive Officer for Cinemar Inc.

“MainLobby Server 3 adds a robust automation engine to the beautiful MainLobby interface. We have created the ability to easily add on-event, timed, recurring, and conditional commands to automate the largest of installations†states David Li, Chief Operating Officer for Cinemar Inc.

MainLobby 3 supports many popular automation technologies and companies such as
Z-Wave, INSTEON, UPB, Lutron RadioRA / Graphic Eye, Leviton, Intermatic, HAI, ELK, GlobalCache, X10, TheaterTek, J River, Neothings, Sonance, Krell, Russound, Netstreams, Yamaha, Video Storm, WGL, and dozens more. Additional support for professional-grade distributed audio systems from Sonos and hardwired lighting systems from Litetouch is planned for later this year.
