Clover DVR

I picked up a Clover 4170 DVR cheap and have a few questions. Is there any way to access this remotely with out there software? How about on my mobile? I've never had a dvr before and don't know what to expect for quality. It's not as good a picture as my tv shows the camera. What do you need to spend to get that quality?

It looks like it requires the client software. Key words to look for are "browser based".

I only have dealt with higher end DVR's that usually cost $3000 on up. You get what you pay for.
