CQC Hits a Hundred

We just posted CQC version 1.6.21. Mostly we posted this relatively quick followup to 1.6.20 to fix a bug that someone found that could have affected some users down the line, so we wanted to nip it in the bud.

However, it just happened that the newly arrived drivers that were ready to go when this release was packed up brings us up to an even 100 device drivers now. It's hard to remember but once there was but one, the Lexicon MC-1 driver, many moons ago. The rate of new drivers has increased substantially of late as more software developer types have come on board as customers. We used to be lucky to get one non-trivial driver out a month, but recently we've been doing more like 4 or 5 a month.

For this release there's a new driver for the Yamah RX-V1500 A/V receiver, Denon 3807 A/V receiver, and an uber-driver for the whole family of Integra A/V receivers, plus the SMS messaging driver and the much improved Runco VX-1000 driver are both formally in this version. They didn't quite make the previous release so they'd been available as separate driver packs.

So 100's behind us, now on to 200. Too bad we can't count all the Integra models as different devices, then we'd have like 130'ish already. I guess a real marketing man would have done that, but we figured 100 is a good enough milestone to crow a bit about. And, importantly, they are all included in the base price of the product, not charged for separately.

Free drivers is one of the many reasons I switched to CQC from other products..and of course the excellent support from Dean the robot and the many freindly CQC users.

Thanks again Dean for a great product!
