Disarming system options

Ive browsed around and did my research on numerous things regarding Elk systems but need help with this; Im finishing a install of the Elk M1 system and am trying to figure the best routes of disarming the system when entry will be made from entering through garage roll up door.

My HA is Radiora 2. I have Arm triggered by keypad/phantom button press on a keypad, exit the garage drive out of garage etc. (though I need a longer delay for this) But entering the garage (opening garage door before disarm via homelink, visor control etc) would obviously set the alarm off. Is my only option a key fob to disarm or the iPhone App?

I use a keyfob attached to my keyring and that gives me simple single-button access that is already right in front of me.
I use a slew of rules for both arming and disarming routines. We only enter/exit via the overhead garage door.

I just set my Enter and Exit times accordingly and have no issues. The overhead doors have longer delays to accommodate for pulling in, parking, and entering the home to disarm... vs that of the front or back doors.

Yeah you just use the entry 2 timer with a longer delay for your garage.   I will admit to a couple of false alarms because I forgot about the timer, stopped for too long to talk to a neighbor or something before actually entering the house.

You can also disarm from your phone with an app.

I also have longer delays on my OHGD's. And I have Fobs and an Rf rcvr. But VIC's question got me wondering.  Can you teach your car button to use the elk to open the garage door via a relay?  Then you could use rules to disarm?  It may make your house less secure though.  Say if someone stole your car.
