Elk M1 Gold central station Monitoring

Looking for late 2024 update for central station monitoring. Is anyone using OOMA for contact with Alarm Relay or others for central station monitoring? Also is anyone using the Teltonika RUT240 or similar modem with the "failover" ability to communicate with Ararm Relay or other service for central station monitoring? ( I did post an update to an old thread but not sure if anyone is following.)
I would like to go with central station for HO insurance purposes, and look for the most affordable solution.

To clarify - OOMA phone (rj 11 ) > phone jack on M1 ? And the Elk M1 can " sieze the line " on from the OOMA. Do you have the 2 line package with OOMA? I did talk briefly with Alarm Relay ( probable tier 1 sales person ) & they were steering me to the Alula Bat-Connect. My understanding Bat-Connect requires a separate account & fee in addition to the Alarm Relay monitoring fees.

I have a Bat-connect from Alarm relay. There is no separate account but there is a small additional fee for the cellular service. The basic monthly monitoring fee is $7 per month and the cellular fee is $10 per month. Alarm relay collects both fees.

The alarm system connects to the bat-connect via standard telephone interface (old school). The bat-connect then translates and transmits the alarm signals via two different paths. The primary path is by IP internet protocol. If that is down for some reason, then it will send via cellular.

The OmniPro 2 does seize the Ooma line. Been working fine for years. I do have two lines with Ooma but only use primary line. I went from copper to Ooma.

Thanks - so - OOMA phone out > standard phone jack on ElK M1. The OOMA Telo configured -mode - Alarm System ( changed from phone/fax ).
The " Home port" on my Telo seems to be disabled by OOMA. Is that correct ?

By the way OOMA does not reccommend using OOMA with an alarm.) Do you also use OOMA with your home phones with an external splitter? I plan to check my OOMA directly with the ElK M1 to see if it can sieze the line and call out.

Thanks & please elaborate on the OOMA option. If that works - would like to verify for that configuration with AlarmRelay as they didn't suggest that option. Please let me know.

I am not using the Ooma box as a firewall and have it wired internally to the network such that the home port is not enabled.

Do you also use OOMA with your home phones with an external splitter?

I use the Ooma line with my 2 line Panasonic DECT phones. No external splitter.

I never tried the Obi GV number with Alarm Relay to see if it worked.

Line 1 - Ooma ==> Alarm panel ==> phone system (Panasonic)
Line 2 - Obi (GV) =============> phone system (Panasonic)

I switched from Next Alarm to Alarm Relay a few years ago. Same configuration with Ooma. I did not ask them about configuration rather just told them what I had configured with Next Alarm.
