I noticed the ELK m1 has a prox reader that can be used with door strikes, and I know girder has a elm M1 plugin. I'm wondering if it can let a pc know who's unlocking the door? Also can you program it by computer and everything so it only unlocks for people at certain times? If I have my maid come in to clean everyday can i have it or girder allow the door to be unlocked only until 5 everyday and will it tell a pc that she opened it, then I could have it lock the office. But when I unlock the door it unlocks the office. I'm hoping i can have girder take this one step further and have it turn on certain lights depending on who's home and maybe even keep rooms locked if that persons not home.
