The Leopard I or II are basically a touch panel and an Ocelot HA controller.
It can IR control/recognition, and zoned IR, which is lacking in the M1. It can do some things with x10 that the M1 cannot YET do.
It has the capabilities of a much more extensive HA control program. It can do conditional logic such as AND and OR, and nested if/then/else statements where the M1 only does AND. While not simple, IMHO it would be easier to program HA functions in the Leopard.
It would be able to talk to or listen to the M1 via rs232 ascii strings.
