Elk M1G with Ethernet---NextAlarm and ABN

Well, I have my Elk M1G installed and have been trying to find out about direct ethernet-based monitoring with NextAlarm....there were some earlier posts about it.

But apparently there is no news, so I was wondering: Can I go ahead and use the ABN setup for now?

In other words, is the only difference between future ethernet-based monitoring and ABN-based monitoring the actual cost of the ABN adapter?

It doesn't impact or affect the M1XEP does it?

I'm not sure about the elk, but I have a DSC panel using the ABN. Im me for details.
