EOL Relay Question

For reasons detailed in another post, I'm replacing three 2-wire smokes in our vacation home with 4-wire smokes on an M1.

I ordered 3 system sensor 4WTA-B and also an RRS-MOD. However, I foolishly didn't order an EOLR-1.

However, I happen to have a spare Elk-912.

Other than drawing an extra 10mA and not being potted, any reason not to use this?

I could pay to get an EOLR-1 delivered while we're here, but would prefer not to.

Other than a potential UL issue, an ELK relay will perform the same function.
