Force Arm

On an Elk M1G I would like to hit the AWAY button on the keypad and have the system ARM itself for away mode. My problem is when I hit the key it tells me that the area is not ready for arm. There are two doors open or possibly open and they are the garage overhead or hall to garage. I set these zones to force arm. It still does not let me arm away even though it is blinking Force Arm on the keypad. Do I need a special key to arm away with force arming? Do I need to do some programming? The Away button is really useless because the scenario where all my zones are not violated when I am leaving never happens. Stay mode arming is fine since I do want to know everything is shut or closed when I am in the house. Any help.
Thanks.

An identifying code is required to force arm. This logs who armed the system with doors/or windows open.

You can program a Function Key (F Key) at the keypad programming as a momentary arm and the code will not be required to arm in a force arm condition.

What is a momentary arm? I do see it as an action for a function key. I would use momentary arm away I guess. It would be nice for the next version to have a global parameter to have the AWAY key to arm with doors/windows open (force armed zones of course). I only allow this for two doors. (the two I need to go out). I think most homeowners with a overhead garage would agree with me that the overhead is going to be open when you are ready to roll.

Thanks for the help.
