FIRST TIME POSTER HERE. CAN'T WAIT TO GET INTO AUTOMATION. CAN ANYONE TELL ME THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN FUJITSU 3400/3500 AND THE LT C-500? I'M ON A LOW BUDGET. LOOKING TO DO HOMESEER, JRMC, CHECK EMAIL, LOOKUP RECIPES AND LIGHTING CONTROL. WILL BE USED MOSTLY IN THE KITCHEN.

I have a 3400x and a LT C-500 and I like both of them
but I am going to get another 3400 for the larger screen.
My 3400x came with 64mb ram (upgradable to 192mb)
and a 6gb hard drive, it also has a 400mhz PIII.
The screen is 10.1 inch versus the LT C-500 8.4 inch.

My C-500 came with 256mb ram a 15gb hard drive and
it has a 500mhz celeron. the C-500 has a 800x600 screen
versus my 3400x that has a 1024x768 screen(some 3400
are 800x600) I like the screen better on the C-500 in the daytime
because it is much brighter then the 3400x screen.
I have Windows 2000 on both of mine and use them with Xlobby
and they both work well with it.
If you have good eyes the LT C-500 is a nice size for using as
a remote, and I like the 3400 for a wall mounted unit.

I don't know if all LT C-500's come with a 15gb drive or not
but most of the 3400's I have seen only have a 6gb. I
got my 3400x with a dead battery but the place I bought it from sent me
a new good one so you may want to ask before you buy one if they
will replace a bad battery.
