Good article. It has information and details about Insteon that I had not seen before.

However in think that the statement:

The consumer price of most modules is around $20.

is misleading, since they have more regular modules than Icon modules, isn't true? The price of the regular modules is far from $20. The correct statement would be to say that the price start at $20.

The protocol is packet oriented and message payloads are encrypted for security.

yeah, right! :lol:

Other than that, the author did pretty well.
