Good Source for Barrel Connectors

I know there are a few hardware people around here...

Anyone know of a good manufacturer of barrel connectors; the standard DC-type charging connectors (i.e. 3.5mm OD x 2.1mm pin)? I've only found Switchcraft so far, and their CAD drawings are not very complete/explicit.

Thanks!

Smee: Well, info on the thread for the backshell (or whatever they call it) would be nice. I really need a panel mount plug (not recep)... Long story! :)

Ski: Thanks! I'll check them out.

I've done similar things, though it's often not a good idea.

I just measured the thread on the plug - easy if you've already got it, difficult if you don't - and cut the appropriate hole. I've used the backshell, either complete or cut off, from the back as a nut.

Ooh. Good idea!

I'm trying to solve a problem with a device that has two connectors but I only want one, and the manufacturer won't change it unless I buy 5,000. :)
