I am trying to connect my hifi to my raspberry pi via serial and control using the protocol attached. the pin out in the documentation states it’s only using pins 2,3,5 across rs-232. when i check voltage on idle txd and gnd i am seeing-5.75v when i thought this should be ~12v. i tried using a usb to ttl cable attached to a level rs232 level shifter but i am still unable to connect. has anyone success trying to do this?
