HAI Omni Pro 11

I was wondering if anyone with some experience could comment on using the Omni pro as an automation controller or is it better left to handle security and a couple of lights following a zone trip.

The HAI web site of course gives a shining review of the Omni Pro 11 as a full blown home automation controller capable of virtually anything, of course they aren't biased at all

Can anyone comment on it's capabilities or lack of?

From comments I have read on the HS forum, the HAI panel is not best suited for integration with software. Search for some posts by Rick Tinker on the HS forum for lots more detail.

Seems like the Elk M1 Gold panel is the one to get based on posts.
