head-end electric

I'm building a new home. It will have a technology closet behind the entertainment center. This room will be the head-end for all of the low voltage in the house. The HAI system will be in there. I'm putting 2 20am circuits into the room.

Should I have the A/V equipment (DVD, TV, Receiver, etc) plugged into a switched circuit. That way I could program one switch to turn them all on or off. Of course some devices may not come ON just because the power goes on.

Thanks,

personally, I wouldn't use a switched circuit for power... use their infra-red capabilities to turn them off.
