Help with HAI....

How do I connect to the HAI system outside my house via the phone when I have a voicemail service that I use throught the telephone company?

I remember when I had an answering machine, that once it disconnected, I heard the beep, now by usinf Verizon VM, I loose that.

Any ideas

Not sure about HAI, but many controllers have an answering machine override feature that allows for calling the line, hanging up, and call back within a short time period. The control will then pick up on the first ring, bypassing the answering machine.

HAI panels do support the call, ring, hangup, wait 10 seconds, then call back. You get a beep, then enter your code.
