Got an RV and looking at setting up some instrumentation They make rear view wireless cameras (power is wired but signal is wireless). They make RV GPS which have some things for RV - truck stops and such that a car would not need. I have an android app that links to an OBD2 dongle for transmission and engine temps. Would be nice to integrate those into 1 or maybe 2 displays. Maybe a small android tablet with a powered wifi camera? I have read that android apps can be side loaded onto Garmin GPS units but haven't been able to find much detail or examples of that. I have a display in the tow vehicle (2023 Tacoma) that does Android Auto which works for GPS road routing from an android phone although it doesn't have the RV features. There are some ways to add some apps to android auto but it isn't very straight forward and it seems to be very limited with some software from Russia - basically mirrors the phone screen. Anyone don't something like this?
