Interesting fact about the AT&T voices

I just finished watching Red Planet (I love 'Mars movies'), and I always admired the TTS voices used in this movie. The Brightspeech voices always reminded me of this movie, but while watching the credits, it lists AT&T Labs for the TTS work. So I looked it up, and sure enough, The AT&T voices we use are supposedly the same they used in this movie. Here are some related links:

Guess it's time to install them again now that I have a faster system and check them out.

I've always thought these were the best. I now use a mixture of AT&T and NeoVoices and that offers a nice variation.
