After many years I just figured it out . . . When creating UNITS, you can type a friendly name and leave the UNIT Number and that UNIT will appear with its friendly name in "AUTOMATION" on the PC Access desktop app.
However, items that still show the UNIT number in Setup, will not be included in the SnapLink mobile app. You must overwrite the Unit number with a friendly name for it to show in SnapLink.
The same is true on the Myro:Home mobile app used with the HAI systems. I just added the paid subscription for Myro:Home on my phone because I doubt if Leviton will keep SnapLink working for 10 more years when an iPhone update breaks it. I have been using the HAI OMNI system for 24 years and plan on using it for at least 10 more.
