Here's a puzzle...
Refer water dispenser light stopped working. Figured it was the bulb. Pulled it out and discovered it was LED. Unit is about 10 years old. To check the bulb I put it in a small night light fixture and the bulb came on. So I pulled apart the unit trying to find the problem. Didn't find anything and eventually put the incandescent night light bulb in the socket and it worked. Now I am really puzzled. Tried the LED bulb on both dim and bright operation - nothing. The LED bulb may be a little dim in the night light socket. I suppose I should write this off as an early LED that didn't have as long of life as current bulbs and just get a new bulb and move on but it is a curious failure...
