I wanted to see if anyone is successfully repairing the network ports on OP2 boards. I posted a few weeks ago about replacing my system, but it seems that the cost and effort involved isn't worth it if I want to try and keep the other components in my system... lighting, audio, stats, etc. Too much to replace/upgrade if I go with something more modern.
From a troubleshooting standpoint, I've tried power cycling and I've added a TP Link 10/100 switch between my Ubiquiti router and the OP2. Ping typically fails (about 75%), even with a direct connection with a xover cable. I am able to sometimes connect with PC Access, usually after 2-3 retries. I can start reading from the controller but it will always retry a few times and eventually go offline before completing the download.
So, my question is... now that Leviton isn't servicing these boards anymore, is anyone successfully repairing them? I think that's going to be my best option, unless it isn't an option at all. Do used boards ever come up for sale? I've seen some on ebay but they're the cost of an entirely new system. I'd also be skeptical that they might be on borrowed time before exhibiting these same network problems. It would be ideal to find one someone is taking out of a working system to upgrade.
