Palm Vx?

Anyone here using a Palm Vx with their Home Automation setup? I understand that the infrared on the unit is fairly weak and not good beyond 6 feet. I also don't think it is worth it (??) to try to add a wireless card (or cradle, in this instance).

I have one laying around my house any was wondering whether I should eBay it...

I have one of those, while they are very reliable PDA's, you won't be able to do much when it comes to home automation. I doubt you will get much for it on eBay.
