An old one, bear with me:
Does anyone know if for Pentium III's, a SEPP2 package is just an enclosure on a card for a socket 370 Pentium III cpu? (that goes in a slot on the motherboard)
The question being, can you take apart that package and replace the cpu inside (assuming the replacement is a socket 370 pentium 3, which I believe was the only socket made for PIII). This is for a rather old dell.
If anyone remembers, please let me know. I may try to take it apart tomorrow myself (in which case I will post my results) but figured I would see if anyone knew (I also dont want to miss some obscure incompatibility).
