I noticed cableguy has rg6 solid copper core and rg6 quad shield non solid copper. Is the regular one shield okay for my whole house TV wiring?

If cost is no object I would always go with the Quad shield. This is especially true is you are in a high signal area. Compression connectors should be used as well to make the job complete.

See the last post in this thread. He is my local supplier and normally has excellent prices. The prices in that post have gone up significantly as the prices adjust with copper like everywhere else, but he is still less than most. He has the solid core quad shield swept to 3Ghz which is what I just used in one of my projects.
