I have a 60" Pioneer and 27" LG TV that I control via RS-232 from my touchscreens OR I control them locally with the IR remote. I had hoped that when I send them an IR (local) command, that they would send a RS-232 acknowledgement (just like my Onkyo TX-SR805's recievers). This would keep my system in synch.
My question is: Are there any TV's out there that can be controlled locally via IR and also send out serial acknowledgments? Is there a way to tell my present TV's that they should acknowledge IR commands serially? Hopefully there are some LG or Pioneer "experts" that can weigh in.
