Server questions

I am wanting to build a server out of some spare parts that I have laying around. I am wanting to use this mainly for storing the Scramblets Dora movies on (hopefully I will get a Sage HD soon), backing up my wifes work files, store all of my pictures, and running CQC on.

Here are the parts that I have now.

AMD Athlon 64 x2 dual core 4200 processor with a cpu speed of 2200

4 GB DDR memory

550 watt power supply

1 WD 160 GB hard drive
2 WD 1 TB hard Drive

1 copy of XP pro


I am planning on adding more drives when I fill these up


Do I /should I use the Raid controller on the ASUS MB or get an external one?

The motherboard RAID will work fine.
