Here is my home layout. I just got into HA about 6 months ago.
I am running:
Smarthome Powerlinc USB controller
Home Control Assistant 6.1
WGL W800 transceiver
Smarthome Phase coupler/repeater
5 Smarthome 5 amp filters
4 X10 standard lamp modules
3 X10 3-way wall switches
8 X10 standard wall switches
7 X10 motion sensors
6 door/window sensors
1 chime module
5 Palmpad remotes
6 sticka switches
2 Keychain remotes
1 Insteon Control linc
2 Insteon RF receivers
2 Insteon lamplinc V2 modules.
24 programs (macros)
1 Schedule with 9 timed events
8 light groups
6 dummy modules
My media room has a 52 widescreen Panasonic DLP TV
Onkyo surround sound system
Panasonic DVD player/recorder
High definition cable box
This is controlled by a Toshiba laptop with a USB IR blaster controlled by IRCommand software.
I have 7 PC's through my home that all have access to HA software via network. Using Radmin software.
I am using the Insteon equipment in my family/media room. Eventually will go with all insteon products.
All the Icons in the pictures represent all the devices under control. Some are obvious, some I indicated what they are.
