Can someone help me understand the difference between send a toggle command and either an on or off command to output 3 via Elk's rule. Toggle flips the DPST relay, but on or off doesn't seem to do anything. I am trying to learn how to operate my watert shutoff valve.
on & off are explicit commands. they won't do anything if the device/output is already in the desired state. toggle is a vague command in that it will change the device/output from whatever it is to whatever it isn't.
Output 3 is a SPDT relay. Setting it to "on" should have the common connected to the NO. Setting it to "off" should have the common connected to the NC.
