Vista 20P Controlling a detached garage

Hello, I've seached for a while for an answer and have found much information, however, none it seems to work for me.

I have a Vista 20P system running with an AD2PI with Pi and an Envisalink. Everything works fine.

I would like to control the garage door using a custom button on the AD2PI web app page. The problem is that the garage is detached.

I found how to make a Raspberry Pi controller but that would require a separate web page to access with my phone. I'm looking to use a relay output to remotely control a relay in the garage.

I ordered a SeeedStudio 2-Channel 315MHz Wireless Relay Switch from Robot Shop and it appears that it may work but I'm concerned about range.

Am I missing a simple solution?

Thansk in advance for your help and suggestions.

I am also looking for a similar solution.

i want to run Homeseer HS3 on a Raspberry PI 2B with a AD2PI

I believe that the software that comes with the AD2USB and AD2Pi  interfaces can control Honeywell relay expansion boards.  Some of these boards are designed to be mounted and independently powered at a remote location with the wiring only providing signal not power.
