This is weird. It was afternoon and I was at home. Security was not enabled. Then suddenly, ELK said "Security violation at laundry window". No one was there and system even wasn't protecting the house.

Here is what I have:
M1G Control Version 4.5.12.0
M1 Control Version 4.5.12.0
EZ8 Control Version 4.5.12.0
ElkComm Version 1.2.6.6
ConvertDB Version 1.2.9.0
ElkSafe Version 1.0.2.0
ErrorDlg Version 1.0.9.0

and ElkRP 1.6.10

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Neil

The controls software version number is probably 4.3.12 not 4.5.12.

Was the chime mode turned on?

How was the zone programmed?

Is the zone still violated?

Need more information to see what may have happened.

The 4.5.12 version was just copied from the ELKRP when I ran it.

I have a strong feeling that chime mode is on.

The zone is programmed as Definition 03 - Burglar/Perimeter Instant.

More information. The window contact is hooked up to an Input Expander.

The zone is not violated anymore. What I did is enter my pin number many times. It was really acting strangely when I was entering my pin. And also, there was no siren just voice.

I would suggest you upgrade to the latest posted software version: 4.4.6. There has been many enhancements and issue resolutions since 4.3.12.

Software upgrade 4.4.8 will be available soon.
