We use an OEM module from "Street Smart" or "Secure Wireless" for remote arming/disarming and Garage Door/Lighting Control with most of the GE NX panels we install. (If they don't have an NX wireless module installed.) They hook-up to the data bus and communicate like an expander with the control panel. The Elk M1's I have installed have an NX Rf expander installed so I use the NX keyfob for remote operation. I now have an M1 to install that doesn't require an Rf rcvr. Has anyone used another RF rcvr/Keyfobs to communicate with the M1?
