Haiku Hai Dock, and Essentia G with iPod dock question in Haiku

Hi is haiku supporting the HAI DOCK i have two system with the hai dock installed but can't get HAI snap link app to recognize it but i can see it on the 5.7 e. I was wondering if Haiku is able to control the dock and get all metadata from it?
Also wich kind of connection we need from the Nuvo Essentia Grand to the omnipro to get the meta data?

and lastly i have a question do you now any brand of DVR that i could use with analog cameras that allows good integration with HAIKU. the one i have it has an iPad interface, that shows me every camera individually, but i can't get the direct stream url to add in haiku. If i try doing this from the web interface, its not possible

Hi Daniel,

The NuVo iPod dock will work and display metadata, but it's not possible to browse the library on it. This is a planned feature.

The connection needed is a serial connection to the HAI controller. For browsing in the future, a NuVo MPS4 media server would be needed.

What DVR are you using now? It should be possible to get an mjpeg or still jpeg URL, especially if it has a web interface.

Hi its a korean dvr, it has a web interface but when i tried to right click get the feed it doesn't allow me.
Also what about the HAI DOCK? its compatible? do we get to browse it?

Haiku doesn't yet browse media via the HAI music gateway.

I'm 90% sure its possible to get the feeds from the web interface, if you want, you can PM me a link to it and I will see if I can get it for you. No point getting a whole new DVR if you can get this one working, right?
