Hello from Eastern Canada

Hi all, just starting my research and design of my new house, construction will not start for at least 18 months so I have a lot of time for sure. I am new to home automation but I do have a lot of experience in Electical, electronics, and computers. I have also been a general contractor for 11 years.
Looking forward to gaining insight from this fantastic knowledge base and all of he very helpl members here.
