Hi Eric,

can you tell me how long the lead wires are on the soil moisture sensors please?

Can you also tell me whether the wires can be extended, and if so, to what length and with what kind of cable/wire?

Assuming the wires can be extended to a reasonable length, then I think I'd probably be better housing the moisture meter indoors and running all sensor wires back to it, rather then trying to find a safe home in the garden for it?

Dave,

The wires on the Watermark sensor we sell are 5' but they can be extended. I don't remember what the maximum is but I know you could go to 100'. Just make sure to use wire at least as large as the wire already on the sensor to reduce the resistance of the wire.
