Hello World

I'm not sure if I'm getting in over my head or starting a new adventure.  I've been asked to install a system in a remodel.  They are redoing the main floor and than the basement.  They've asked for the whole system including Security, Lighting, Video, and Audio and will be going back to the studs for the remodel.  I know I would like to put in an Omnipro iie and Russound mca c-5.  The rest is up in the air.  I've been researching this site but there's so much info I'm not sure where to start.  Z-wave or zigbee.  Any suggestions and pictures are welcome.  I've read up on the 101 and have access to commercial pricing/resources.  Let's do this.
