Haiku Feature Request: IFTTT support

Not sure how this would work since the HAI and HaikuHelper solution is most certainly cloud free, but some way to get IFTTT integration would be spectacular.
 
Since I have several other IFTTT supported services (iOS location, Automatic, etc) being able to use that data to place triggers into HH would be spectacular.  Same with the reverse... HaikuHelper has an issue, it can trigger an IFTTT response.
 
Long shot I know, but I thought I would throw it out there!

Doesn't IFTT support communication via HTTP? Does it require a REST interface? I'm not too familiar with it.

They can do JSON and other tech, but only to an established "channel provider".  I can't do a one off HTTP or REST interface.
