Hi guys,

I recently jumped the gun and updated to V2 on the M1XEP and it appears to break compatibility with ElkM1::Control. I keep getting connection refused.

Can anyone else confirm this, so i know I'm not going crazy?
and
Just a heads up for anyone thinking of updating, if your using ElkM1:control you might wanna hold off.

Don't jump to any concluions, many of us have it working.

Mike.

BraveSirRobbin, I don't think that's the case. It's not and issue of not responding due to the wrong ip and having to switch to dhcp.

After the upgrade it retained the same static IP. I can access it no probem through ElkRP2 to that IP. Additionally I can use eKeypad with no problems to that IP address.

I believe it's specifically an ELKM1::CONTROL issue.

Hi mike,

You posted right before I did, I didn't see your response till after mine posted. Sorry, if it's working for others then I'll shut up. Haha.

Sorry about that then.

If you are able to access the system via elkrp then the xep is communicating with your pc so why do you say that the xep is not working? What are the symptoms?

Mike.

Interesting.  Wonder what changed?

I asked in previous posts to this thread if anyone had trouble accessing via their Android/Apple devices as I was worried about something like this happening.

I use eKeypad Pro (Apple) and have no issues. I also know of others who are using myKeypad Pro (Android), also without issues.
