What happened to the $36 WC8 boards on Amazon.com?

There unavailable on Amazon. Where else can I get a new WC8 board for <$40.

I've purchased mine on eBay over the years. The ones on bid start $29 + $5 shipping. Often you are the only bidder so that is your price. Purchase price for WebControl on eBay is a little more, if you can't wait. I try to keep a spare on hand in case one dies or I start a new project. So far none have died but I keep finding new things to build.

Don't know what happened to that Amazon, but tom is right, you can contact RossW, he does offer WC8 and WC32 boards, plus IO expansion boards.

I contacted Ross, he has some but shipping is unavoidable and pricey. Where else besides Amazon and Ebay can Webcontrol be found? How come its not at electronic sites like Sparkfun.com?

RossW is a great guy, but he's in Australia so if you're in the US it won't be cost effective.

Except that I can drop-ship WC8, WC32 and WC32-IO from the USA, so it's only "domestic" shipping.

It is also on Smarthome web site. You can ask Spartkfun if they like to carry WC boards.
