What generation is this switch?

Pulseworks 400W UPB plug-in lamp module.  No info on its UPB generation.  I may need to get a repeater at my house.

I think that you can get the version of the device from the Upstart program. if you don't have upstart is available free online at Simply Automated website and others.

The PCS stuff is usually pretty good. Certainly anything with a version 5.54 or newer is fine. If older, I would just check with PCS.

Thanks guys.  I've not bought it yet, so I can't poll it.  My concern is regarding the ability to use a repeater.  I know the older generation devices do not respond to status correctly with a repeater.

Unless its old stuff on eBay, anything from PCS that you can buy currently should work fine with repeaters.
